The typical commercial insurance loss control inspector surveys commercial businesses for property or casualty (general liability, automobile, workers compensation) exposures, identifying exposures to loss and stating how a business can control these loss exposures. If deficiencies are found in protecting for a loss exposure, the loss control inspector will offer recommendations for improvements to reduce the exposure.
